On January 8, the Legacy Ridge mixed-use rezoning was remanded for revision. On January 26, the 150 and Ward Apartments plan was continued at the applicant's request, and the commission approved a Bank of America branch at 1801 NW Chipman Road and Phase 1 of Pathways at Kensington Farms.
When a project the size of Legacy Ridge is remanded, the commission and applicant usually need more time to align on infrastructure, land use transitions or neighborhood compatibility. It shows the commission is still asserting its standards for large-scale projects.
